Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we recommend booking in advance as spaces can fill up quickly. Our events open at 11am 6 days before the next one.

How much does it cost to play?

Currently £9 or £10 depending on the session. This is subject to change as the club evolves.

Can I drop in for a session?

No, you must register as a non-member before attending any of our sessions. If you have not played badminton in a while, we strongly suggest you attend the Thursday session first. Our team will then be able to advise the best session for you.

How do I cancel a session?

You must cancel in the Spond App with 24 hours or more notice. Failure to provide adequate notice will mean you are not eligible for a refund. You will not be able to carry over any fees paid to another session if you cancel after this period.

Do you provide coaching?

From time to time, we may offer coaching at our sessions. However, this is not a regular coached activity. Our experienced members will offer help and support if asked or needed.

What equipment do I need?

We provide shuttlecocks, but players should bring their own rackets, non-marking shoes and sports clothes.

How do I renew my membership?

Membership renewal happens every September and you will be notified by the club committee when renewals are taking place.
